I would like to tell you a little about our company:
R & M Specialty Products was established as a business in
1991. The reason I invented this system was because after we started
our family, my wife threatened to stop camping!
My first prototype was produced in 1989 and was in research and development
for about a year and a half. I tested different pumps, hoses, shower
heads, and several styles of heat exchangers until I came up with our product.
I decided to go public with urging from family and friends.
Since going public, the response has been incredible! Some of
the locations of our showers include Iceland, Alaska, Siberia, Saudi Arabia,
The Yukon Territory and many states in the U. S. We are presently
expanding our market from Off-Road vehicles to Camping, Horse Endurance
Racing, Cattle and Sheep Industry, Hunting, Fishing, and Skin Divers!

We have people using our showers to wash animals in grooming businesses;
their horses for shows and competitions, or even cleaning their vehicles
after a long run.
How the Hot Shower Works:
Our complete system is made in the U. S. A. and is the Original Hot
Shower.
Our shower is designed to work off a Patented, unique, custom heat exchangers
system. The Heat Exchanger was designed specifically for taking HOT
SHOWERS. This allows you to take HOT SHOWERS using the heat from
your engine and any outside water source you choose; i.e., lake,
stream, or even just a bucket!
The compact Heat Exchanger (2 1/2" X 12") only needs to be installed
once. It comes with a "T" bracket for easy installation. It is installed
between one of your vehicle's heater hoses which runs from your motor to
the heater core. The Heat Exchanger is made up of a material that will
never rust and it is something you will be proud to have on your vehicle.
The system has its own marine self priming pump which cycles on demand.
The pump is connected to your vehicle's battery for power.
You connect three hoses which come with the system. The suction hose is 26
feet long with a suction device to prevent dirt from entering your pump,
the hose from the pump to the heat exchanger is 9 feet long, and the shower
hose is 15 feet long with a low flow shower head attached to it.
The shower system comes with a squeeze clamp so you can attach it where
it is needed.
Water only needs to pass through the heat exchanger once for a HOT SHOWER.
The shower time is unlimited, the temperature is adjustable by either adjusting
the flow at the shower head, by adjusting the temperature control in your
vehicle, or by adjusting the idle on your vehicle. The flow of the
shower head is approximately 1.5 gallons per minute (which is comparable
to a low flow shower head in most motels). For example, a 5 gallon
bucket of water can wash 2 people comfortably.
The temperature range is approximately 105 to 120 degrees at normal
shower flow. The water is INSTANTANEOUSLY HOT when your engine is
up to normal operating temperature.
The system comes complete with a Heat Exchanger, hoses, pump, hardware
and installation instructions. After installation you will have everything
to take a HOT SHOWER! Installation time is about 1/2 hour.
In a matter of a few minutes you can be taking a HOT SHOWER for as long
as you like, rain or shine!
